Hand-Stretched Grissini is a packaging design project by Atyan Design for the Miqich brand, created for a four-flavor line of hand-stretched grissini made using Italian technique and produced locally in Armenia. Since the client wanted the Italian heritage of the product to come through clearly, Atyan Design developed a minimal packaging design that lets the product’s craftsmanship speak for itself, paired with clean typography and a color system that distinguishes each of the four flavors at a glance. Minimal packaging design is often the hardest kind to get right: every element has to earn its place, from color to type to material choice, while still standing out on a crowded shelf next to competing snack and bakery brands.
